Frequently asked questions
Open Settings using the sliders icon at the top right of the app.
Why is on-device AI unavailable?
The app supports iOS 17 or later. On-device AI needs iOS 26 or later, an Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhone, Apple Intelligence enabled, downloaded models and a supported language. Check On-device AI in Settings and choose Check if AI is available again. You can still enter expenses, events and lists and use the preset checks in the AI screen without AI.
Apple Intelligence requirementsWhat if an answer does not match my question?
Ask about one topic and period at a time, such as “How much did I spend on food this month?” or “What is on tomorrow?”. Open the answer’s sources and details to check its date range and records. AI interprets your question; the app searches and calculates from saved records. Unrecorded expenses and events cannot be included.
How do I save a memory?
Open Memories on Home and choose “Add a memory”. Save a title and date with one optional photo, notes and a place. A photo is not required. “Save & add a memory” in a plan’s editor links the memory to that plan. The app stores a resized copy of the photo and leaves the original unchanged.
Can I keep a plan’s budget and checklist together?
Use “Budget & packing” in a dated plan or task created in the app. Related expenses and upcoming payments reduce the unused amount set aside, avoiding double deduction from the monthly budget. You can leave this section empty when you do not need it.
Does deleting a memory also delete the original photo or plan?
It deletes that memory and its photo copy in the app. It does not delete the original in Photos, linked plans or expenses, or previously exported backups. Manage or delete backup copies separately at their saved location. Visible photo content and the place or notes you enter are also included in exported files.
Can I move my photos to a new iPhone too?
In a supporting iPhone version, choose “Save full backup” under Full Kurashi OS backup to save finances in all currencies, plans, lists, memory photos, wallpaper and settings in one file. Select iCloud Drive or another destination yourself. On the new device, choose “Import from backup”, review and import. Existing records with the same IDs and settings already configured are not overwritten. Use the legacy backup section for web or older files; those do not include Memories or wallpaper. There is no automatic sync. Keep the original records and file until you have checked the transfer.
Can I export my expenses and events to CSV?
Use Export CSV in Money or Schedule, or in the Data & backups settings. Financial exports use the currently selected currency’s records; no exchange-rate conversion is applied. CSV is for viewing and analysis. Use a JSON backup to restore records in the app.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Check Reminders, tomorrow’s outlook & Siri in Settings. Try refreshing scheduled notifications and the test notification in 10 seconds. Also check notification permission and Focus settings on your iPhone. The number of scheduled notifications is limited, so open the app regularly.
Why is the weather or location missing?
Check your internet connection, choose the weather location again and refresh. Using your current location also requires location permission on your iPhone. You can search for a place without granting that permission. Check the forecast’s update time and location. For rain radar, choose the area on the linked external website.
Does my departure time update with traffic?
The departure estimate uses the event time and your saved travel duration. Add a destination to an event to set travel and preparation times. You can look up a duration from your current location, but the app does not automatically refresh it or monitor traffic. Open the route in Maps before leaving to check current guidance.
What if a receipt is not read correctly?
Receipt scanning is available for the Japanese yen ledger. In the expense form, choose Scan receipt. Capture one receipt at a time with its total and purchase date visible. Avoid shadows and glare, and align the receipt’s four corners when using a photo. Review the suggested values before entering and saving them. You can enter any missing fields manually.
Can I import Google or iCloud calendar events?
In Schedule, use Add calendar to import an .ics file exported from Google, iCloud or another calendar. Imports are read-only and do not sync automatically. If the original calendar changes, import it again using the same name to update it.
Are my records or photos sent outside the iPhone?
The iPhone app stores expenses, events and lists on the device and does not automatically send them to the developer’s server. Receipt recognition and AI processing also run on the device. Weather, place search and route estimates need a connection and send necessary location information to Apple. Messages you submit to support are stored on Kurashi OS servers. The iPhone app does not run advertising or analytics. This support website has its own data-use information linked below.
